Michele Allegro is an Italian composer whose music explores the relationship between rhythmic energy, musical memory, and expressive tension. Seeking a balance between structural clarity and emotional immediacy, his works combine physical gesture, resonance, and a distinctive contemporary musical language. His compositions have received international recognition through awards including the Garth Newel Composition Competition, the P.O.I. International Composition Competition, and the Manufaktur für Kunst Composition Competition. His music has been performed in Europe and the United States, and he has collaborated with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, Dolomiti Symphonia, the Garth Newel Piano Quartet, Impression Saxophone Ensemble, and Trio Revolution.
Fé Beatty (they/them) is a storyteller. A composer, theatrical performer, and playwright, Fé's creative work focuses on theatricality, playfulness, and the collision of art forms into weird new things. Fé is currently a Music Composition major at Ohio State with a background in musical theatre and Classical Guitar, with dual degree in Creative Writing and minors in both Dance and Theatre. Originally from China, Yuxuan Lin is a New York–based composer whose work explores intersections of music, technology, visual art, and dance. With a unique way of perceiving space and distances, Lin consistently draws inspiration from neurological diversity among artists as a creative resource. Winner of the 2024 Verdehr Trio Composition Prize, Lin received a Bachelor of Music from The Juilliard School, where she was honored with the Peter Mennin Prize for outstanding achievement and leadership. Lin is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Composition at Juilliard under composers Melinda Wagner, Nina C. Young, David Ludwig, and Amy Beth Kirsten.
Composer Kian Ravaei (b. 1999) takes tone painting to a new level, synthesizing diverse inspirations ranging from the Iranian music of his ancestral heritage to the pulsating electronic music of late-night dance clubs. From Carnegie Hall to Pierre Boulez Saal, sought-after musicians including Fleur Barron, Lara Downes, and Anthony McGill have brought Ravaei’s works to global stages. His music has been commissioned by Seattle Chamber Music Society, Chamber Music Northwest, and American Composers Orchestra, with commissioning awards from Chamber Music America, New Music USA, and the Barlow Endowment. He is currently a C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellow at The Juilliard School.
